The Rachel Zoe Project is starting with season 5!!

When I discovered the Rachel Zoe project series my wishes were answered. I L-O-V-E fashion and everything that has to do with it, so to see someone having the perfect job with the fine taste like Rachel Zoe it is hard not to watch this amazing show :). I'm happy Rachel Zoe is doing another season now she has an even bigger empire. I can't wait to hear her silly reactions like that's ba-na-nas! or MAJ! haha, she can say that though!

Her spring 2013 collections are just out, I adore her style and love that she has translated her style in such a wearable collection. I bet it's a dream come true for her, to design her own clothes. It has been mine for a long time too, but the Netherlands isn't ready for that yet :)

With a couple of girlfriends, i went to Antwerp (Belgium) this Saturday. A beautiful day to look at the beautiful little boutiques this shop city has. But somehow i ended up trying everything in the store COS. I like the minimalistic look COS has, even though my hips get in the way with this look sometimes. I bought a couple of items, i restricted myself not to buy the whole store.

These are the items i got, i love black as you can see :)

What do i have in my bag?

I love big bags, cause i always have (or need :)) everything with me. 
These 12 items are necessary:

1. Ofcourse, a nice big bag like this Karen Millen bag. A bag should always complement your outfit!

2. My glasses, that i almost never wear, are always in my bag. My eyes aren't that bad, but i think it's safer if i have to drive a car that i can see ;) :P. My glasses are from Andy Wolf.

3. Ofcourse next to my glasses, i need always a nice pair of sunglasses. Since i have my new haircut, i love the really big sunglasses. This one is from H&M, i love sunglasses i don't have to be careful with :).

4. The best mascara ever; my Yves Saint Laurent mascara. It gives my lashes the extra umph and it has a nice smell to it.

5. My Chanel blush! I love Chanel! This blush is amazing and i can never go without a little bit Chanel.

6. Guerlain foundation, you never know when you need a touch up.

7. Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf have the best perfume called "Flowerbomb". It is a small bottle too, perfect for in your bag :). And for the emergencies, or if i'm too familiar with my perfume, is a little tester nice to have with me.

8. My agenda, it's a special "Succes" agenda with nice brown soft leather.

9. The most important item in my bag will always be my phone, can't go anywhere without my new Samsung Galaxy S3. I'm sorry, but i'm not an apple/iphone freak.. I like the Galaxy better :P, really try it once and you never go back.

10. My Antichic wallet i got from my best friend. I love leather, cause it ages so beautiful.

11. This file from Koh is my new addiction. It is from glass and lasts forever, well that is what they said in the store from Koh. Unless it brakes offcourse.. The other nice thing from a glass file is that you can bring it on the plane.. I still have to try that, i'm afraid that i have to throw it away by customs.

12. The last item are my keys, not that surprising..

Men Monday

This monday, Leo is the lucky guy!

Leonarda Dicaprio did always amaze me. He started really young with acting, he looked like a little spoiled brat when he was younger. But now he is rocking the look of bad boy.

The thing i most like about him is the kind of movies he plays in, i know if there is a movie coming up with Leo that i'm gonna want to see it!

But most of all, i adore his love for french bulldogs :). He has the coolest little frenchie that he adores. It's like seeing a guy becoming a father, a man with a dog is the sexiest thing to see!

 

Looking for the perfect wintercoat

Oh coat, coat! wherefore art thou?

I am already looking for the perfect winter coat. The summer in Amsterdam wasn't that amazing so my search for my winter look has started a bit earlier this year :).

I've already found the perfect winter-work coat. Something i can wear to work and parties where i have to wear a nice dress. This is my new Karen Millen coat, with the black & white stripes that makes this classic coat interesting! (link)

Now i am still looking for my new winter-everyday coat. I want a coat that will be so warm and looks cosy. Something furry and has a tough look, a coat that will look better after wearing it a couple of times. 

As always, i've found some nice coats in a price range that i can't afford right now. But it's always nice to get some inspiration. In my search i found one coat that's really cheap for a coat, but some how i don't trust this.. Something too nice to be true?! With all my life lessons and experience in ordering from internet, i almost can ensure that it won't be true.. I'm still reconsidering the gamble though!

Abercrombie & Fitch, great concept ;)

We don't have an Abercrombie & Fitch store in Amsterdam, no hot male models.. But now we have this video :). This will not only make my day but whole week!

Aniston is such a strong woman that I admire a lot, she tries to keep private things to herself but I'm happy for her that the tabloids let her shine for once! And who didn't go once in their lifes to the hairdresser asking for a Jennifer Aniston haircut??!!

Man Monday

Man Monday

Monday -the worst day of the week! On monday you still have the whole week ahead of you. On monday you have to go back to work or go study for another week, till it's weekend again.. But that looks too far away to even think about. So I will give you something nice on monday, something you can look forward to on sunday! I will give you every monday, Man Monday! Every week some hot stuff that catches my eye. So enjoy :)

This week i'll give you Christian Bale! I'm not someone who adores super-heroes, i'm maybe even the opposite (i don't care about grown-up guys walking down the street in some tight costume). But the movie Batman has some great actors - like Morgan Freeman, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt - so i couldn't not watch this in Imax!

Batman is great, but what Christian Bale does for movies is incredible! He has his body under control! I bet a lot of women want to know his secrets ;)

 PAUL SMITH, I love you!

Paul Smith is an amazing person/designer. Some time ago I saw a documentary about him and, if it's possible, i liked him and his clothes even more. He has such a talent and eye for detail. With his typical stripes he produces rugs, camera's and even mini coopers! I recommend everyone to watch the documentary of Paul Smith. When I was a student I used to work at a small shop in the Nine Streets (Amsterdam) called "Local Service". This shop has two stores across the street from eachother, one for men and one for women. It especially sold clothes/shoes/bags from Paul Smith (Chloe, 7forallmankind etc), this is where my love for this brand started. It has beautiful fabrics and every piece has a little joke or something quirky what makes you smile. 

I was a student, so buying stuff there was really out of the question. But once there was a big sale in our shop and i couldn't go home without getting me some Paul Smith. Like every sale all the clothes in my size where gone, but i found the most amazing shoes, even though they were a size too small i had to buy them. And like every Paul Smith piece it has a little joke, like the "Men Only" in these women shoes inspired by men shoes :) with nice flower detail in the shoes. I love them, even though i can only wear them when i don't have to walk! 

Love hurts sometimes ;)

This is a little impression about my style and how my world looks like. I love black&white with some bold colours. I like to combine feminine with bold things, being a little edgy but still embrace my girly side.
